The School of Transportation is Yunnan's first mixed-ownership comprehensive transportation institute, jointly established by Dehong Normal University and Yunnan Kong'ao Education Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yunhua Education Science & Technology Group. It features four distinctive educational characteristics: Military-style Discipline Management, Traditional Culture Quality Enhancement, Innovative Talent Cultivation, and Lifelong Career Services.

Currently offering five specialized programs: Flight Attendant Services, Aviation Security Management, Civil Aviation Transportation, High-speed Rail Passenger Services, and Urban Rail Transit Operations Management. The school houses an advanced training center equipped with cutting-edge facilities including an A320 Cabin Service Simulator, CRH380A High-speed Rail Simulation System, and Airport Environment Simulation Platform. Additional training equipment will be progressively allocated based on program expansion needs.
